Kimi races in other series during the winter. This year (after alot of pleading with ferrari) he participated in the scandinavian rally, he said its because he enjoys racing his engineer says it keeps his reflexes up. I know what yo mean though, back in the day F1 drives would participate in Le mans, the indy 500, the milla milagia - the one Stirling Moss one cant remember the name it was a road rally 300 miles long i think. But you must also remember there were only about 10 races a year in the 50's and 60's not 16/17/18/19/20 that there is today, plus more fitness, testing and PA is required today so hey have less free time.
