Motor Racing and Formula One

I was looking at a Honda NSX on car sales website and One seller has mentioned that it’s a formula 1 car.
Furthermore I know that Ferrari F50 is a street legal Formula 1 car.

But what is this? I assume that it’s about the motor.

Ok i have a 96 accord ex an it has a f22a1 motor in it an i wanna hook the motor up because i like racing (street racing) bud i just got the car and i wanna start upgrading it now.but i don’t know where to go to to get performance mods.because i don’t wanna swap the motor.i wanna keep that f22a1 motor in it an just build it up.i wanna make the car fast!!somebody please help!!!!!
