Motor burning oil with racing pistons?

The pistons Im running in my motor on the bottom ring is notched out for the rist pin. Wouldn’t that cause a motor to burn oil?

    The oil ring will still clean the cylinder walls on the cylinder walls on the expander and top oil off the expander and top oil off the oil.
