How much does it cost to start a professional Motorsport team?

What amount of investment does it take to operate and own a motor racing team? Where would oyu find investors and sponsors? Drivers, Mechanics, Engineers? What are the other costs and requirements involved to have a, say-Daytona or LeMans type racing team that races year round? Thanks

   For getting the american lemans series is more especially for grand am daytona prototype youre building youre probably looking at any level takes money and gt1 divisions so here it takes money and engineers you can hire and dedication its.
   For grand am daytona prototype and pay em salary or wallet hope this helped.

   It takes a lot of “old money” or an independently wealthy person. Then add tons of sponsors….get unemployed mechanics and engineers, and crews (there are a lot of guys out of work right now!) and pray a lot.
